GROUP PROJECT
Neko Launcher
A Minecraft desktop launcher built with React and Tauri / Rust. My engineering scope included the application and file-integrity checks.
Built with Michitta .
Product & context
The launcher is for Minecraft players selecting servers and managing their game setup. The supplied UI 5 designs cover downloads, configuration, profile settings, and an in-game overlay.
My responsibility
Built with Michitta. My contribution here is the engineering work; install and retention figures describe the shared product.

Group-project outcomes
Install and first-week retention figures are project outcomes. Launch time is a reported performance measurement.
My engineering work
Web UI with a desktop foundation
Built the React / Tailwind interface on Tauri and Rust. The application stack included tRPC and TanStack Query for frontend/server-state work.
Local-file integrity
Implemented checksum and signature validation around the files being launched. This work addressed file integrity alongside startup performance, rather than treating the launcher as only a web interface.
Results in context
Checksum and signature validation was associated with an approximately 90% reduction in exploiters. This is the reported project result, not a guarantee against every form of tampering.
